WELCOME!
Team Mongolia
New church plant
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Grace and peace be to you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We pray that this letter finds you all in good health and Spirit as we continue our journey of faith and service to God.
about Mongolia
Mongolia is located between Russia and China. 70% of the Mongolian population is under the age of 35. The main religions are Buddhism and Shamanism. At present, the population of Mongolia is 3.5 million, and over 180'000 are living abroad. Christianity in Mongolia has been developing for thirty years, which is relatively young.
Besides, 1.3% of the population consider themselves Christians. Meaning that we are still in the category of the Unreached group. We also want you to know that the gospel of Christ has been actively preached in this land for over thirty years, and this message is still spreading not just in urban areas, but also to the nomadic people, as well as in the EU and is still changing the lives of many people.
about US
We are family friends and our friendship has been more than 10 years.
Our friendship started from our being single to married, and even now it has been growing and inherited by our children. Jesus Christ is the center of our friendship. All of these years were built in the genuine fellowship in Christ and the ministries in His kingdom. We have served together through Mongolia Campus Crusade for Christ \MCCC\ in family and church planting ministry with the transformative power of God's love and its positive impact on people's lives.
MEET THE FAMILY
Nathan's family
My name is Naidandorj (Nathan). My wife Lkhama. We were married in 2016. God has blessed us with a loving son Duulal (Psalms). For the last seven years, I have served the Mongolians. As well as in a couple of areas in my local church, as a worship and small group leader, and in youth ministry. During that time, I also served in the church planting ministry under the international organization called “Cru Mongolia” as a full-time staff.
Lkhama is a doctor and has a unique calling for counseling which presents an opportunity to extend God's grace and healing to those who are hurting and in need of emotional, psychological, and spiritual support. For me (Nathan), I have one certain calling which is worship and to prepare true worshipers all around the world. As a family, we have been presented with an incredible opportunity to further equip ourselves for His kingdom.
John's family
My name is Erdene-Ochir (John) and my wife's name is Anar. We got married in 2016 and now we have three daughters. It has been 15 years since we believed in Christ since we were students, and more than 10 years since we served the Lord full-time.
Since We were students, we participated in the student movement of the Mongolia Campus Crusade for Christ and began to participate in the disciple-making ministry.
We saw ourselves not only changing ourselves in Christ but also changing the lives of other students through us. So, after graduating from university, we joined the ministry to serve God full-time. Seeing the spread and fruits of past service, one cannot help but thank God.
We are called to prepare young families and students to be true followers of Christ, to plant multiplying congregations based on them in Mongolia and other nations, and to participate hand in hand in the fulfillment of the Great Commission at this time.
Uugii's family
My name is Bayar-Undrakh (Uugii). My wife's name is Zoljargal (Zolo). We've been married for 9 years and we have 2 children. We received Christ teenager and now our family has been serving the church for more than 15 years as a cell group and worship team.
My wife was working in a large group company in Mongolia and now she left her job to serve the Lord. I work and serve in the Mongolian Campus Crusade for Christ. From the moment we got married, we wanted to devote our whole lives to the gospel. We went to Tibet and Inner Mongolia on short family mission trips.
At this time, the vision of our family is to spread the love of Christ from family to family, from husband to wife, from parents to children in the house. My wife has seen many times how family problems interfere with faith in God during meetings with more than 500 wives in the Christian radio ministry. We have had many young couples ask us about their relationship advice. We realized that there is still a lack of Christ-based services for young couples, families, and children. God has placed in our hearts and revealed to us in many ways that He wants our family to offer all that we are to Him and serve Him completely in this space.
What’s new in our lives
We are writing to share a heartfelt endeavor that has happened to our lives. We have been accepted to pursue a two-year study program in Counseling at YWAM Switzerland under the University of Nations. We trust that God is at work and leading us through these days with joy and excitement as we embark on this journey together. We believe that God has provided an avenue for us to serve Him through both counseling and church planting. However, as a prerequisite for pursuing these studies in YWAM and church planting, we are required to complete the “Discipleship Training School” (DTS). A foundational course that prepares individuals to serve effectively in various capacities within the mission field.
The DTS program is 6 months of intensive and transformative experience that will equip us with essential skills, spiritual growth, and a deeper understanding of our calling. Through DTS, we will be better prepared to minister to individuals, families, and communities in need, providing both counseling and planting a church that radiates God's love and healing.
VISION
Currently, 1.3 percent of the Mongolian population is Christian, but for the rest, we have a great need and mission to reach the gospel of Christ and make disciples. Besides, there are a large number of Mongolians working and living in Europe. As families, we want to stand in the breach and serve Mongolians while studying in Switzerland. We want to target around 40000 scattered Mongolians all over Europe. We are willing to establish a multiplying church among the Mongolians starting from Geneva for 3 years that would multiply and reach the rest of the Mongolians in Europe.
MISSION
Mongolia has the highest rate of adolescent suicide in East Asia and the Pacific. Not only that, the suicide rate among adults is rising rapidly. Furthermore, 1 of 4 families are getting divorced. These public health and communication issues are facing challenges in providing quality mental health and psychological support services. As we learn of these heartbreaking and terrifying statistics, we want to help those people who are suffering emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. For this reason, first of all, we want to equip ourselves to become adequate and qualified.
Your generous contributions will not only enable us to embark on this incredible educational and spiritual journey but will also allow us to impact lives in ways that honor and glorify our Lord God.
OUR NEEDS
While this journey is undoubtedly exciting and inspiring, we acknowledge the financial challenges that lie ahead. We are humbly seeking your support and prayers as we aim to raise funds to cover tuition fees, travel expenses, health insurance, and the cost of living during the DTS program which is approximately $15000 for one family. We are in great need. However, there is no doubt that God will provide for us when we walk with the heart and the vision that He gave us.
We understand the importance of stewardship and assure you that any funds received will be managed with the utmost responsibility and integrity. We are committed to investing our time, effort, and resources into this calling, seeking God's guidance every step of the way.
Here is our the brief budget estimate of DTS program:
